1. Introduction
Welcome to JeshBill, a product of Jeshtech Integrated Services (RC-9487841). By creating an account and using our platform at jeshbill.ng, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
JeshBill provides a digital platform for purchasing airtime, data bundles, paying electricity bills, subscribing to cable TV services, purchasing WAEC Result Checker PINs, and sending money between JeshBill users. These services are available to individuals in Nigeria who are 18 years of age or older.
2. Account Registration
To use JeshBill services, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information including your full name, email and phone number
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Set up a transaction PIN to secure your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. JeshBill reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.
3. Wallet and Funding
JeshBill operates a digital wallet system. You can fund your wallet through the following methods:
Dedicated Virtual Account (BudPay via Globus Bank):
• Each user is assigned a unique dedicated virtual account number
• Transfer money to your unique account number from any Nigerian bank
• Wallet credits are processed automatically upon confirmed payment
• A flat fee of ₦50 is charged per bank transfer by BudPay. This fee goes directly to BudPay and not to JeshBill
Pay Now (BudPay Inline Checkout):
• Fund instantly using your debit card, USSD or internet banking
• A flat fee of ₦50 is charged per transaction by BudPay
Minimum funding amount is ₦100. JeshBill is not a bank and does not offer banking services. Your wallet balance is held in trust for the purpose of paying for services on our platform.
4. Service Fees and Charges
JeshBill charges the following fees:
• Airtime: Sold at face value with no extra charge
• Data bundles: Fixed prices as displayed on the platform. 1% cashback (capped at ₦10) is earned on every data purchase
• Electricity bills: ₦100 flat service fee per transaction
• Cable TV subscriptions: ₦200 flat service fee per transaction
• WAEC Result Checker: ₦5,500 per PIN (sold at fixed price, PIN delivered via SMS)
• Send Money (JeshBill to JeshBill): Completely free, no charges
• Wallet funding via BudPay: ₦50 gateway fee charged by BudPay per transaction
All prices are displayed clearly before you confirm payment. JeshBill reserves the right to update pricing with reasonable notice.
5. Cashback Rewards
JeshBill offers a cashback reward on data purchases:
• 1% cashback on every data bundle purchase, capped at ₦10 per transaction
• Cashback is stored separately and must be manually claimed from your dashboard
• Claimed cashback is added to your main wallet balance and can be used for any service on JeshBill
• JeshBill reserves the right to modify or discontinue the cashback program at any time with reasonable notice
6. Auto-Renewals
JeshBill offers an optional auto-renewal feature for data, airtime and cable TV subscriptions:
• You can set up auto-renewal after any successful data, airtime or cable TV purchase
• You choose the renewal frequency: daily, every 3 days, weekly or monthly
• On the renewal date, JeshBill will automatically purchase the same service using your wallet balance
• Your wallet must have sufficient balance for the renewal to succeed
• If your wallet balance is insufficient, you will be notified by both in-app notification and email
• If auto-renewal fails 3 times in a row, it will be automatically disabled and you will be notified
• You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the Auto-Renewals section in your dashboard
• JeshBill is not liable for any service disruption arising from insufficient wallet balance during auto-renewal
7. Transactions and Refunds
All transactions on JeshBill are processed in real time and are generally irreversible once confirmed. However:
• If a transaction fails after your wallet has been debited, the amount will be automatically reversed to your wallet within 24 hours
• If you experience a failed transaction that is not automatically reversed, contact us at support@jeshbill.ng within 48 hours
• Refunds are only processed for failed transactions. Successful transactions cannot be reversed
• JeshBill is not liable for incorrect details provided by you such as wrong meter number, wrong phone number or wrong smartcard number
Please verify all transaction details carefully before confirming payment.
8. Send Money (JeshBill to JeshBill)
JeshBill allows free wallet transfers between registered JeshBill users:
• You can send money to any JeshBill user using their registered phone number
• Transfers are instant and completely free with no charges
• Minimum transfer amount is ₦100
• All transfers are irreversible once confirmed
• You confirm that the recipient details are correct before sending
• JeshBill is not liable for transfers made to wrong accounts due to incorrect details provided by you
9. Referral Program
JeshBill operates a referral program:
• Each user receives a unique referral code upon registration
• When a referred user signs up using your referral link and funds their wallet for the first time, you earn a referral reward of ₦20
• The referral reward is credited to your JeshBill wallet by JeshBill. It does not come from the referred user's money
• You can only earn a referral reward once per referred user regardless of how many times they fund their wallet
• Abuse of the referral program including creating fake accounts or self-referrals will result in account suspension and forfeiture of all rewards
• JeshBill reserves the right to modify the referral reward amount at any time with notice
10. Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to use JeshBill for:
• Any fraudulent or illegal activities
• Processing stolen payment instruments
• Money laundering or financing illegal activities
• Attempting to hack, disrupt or compromise our platform
• Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions or the referral program
• Reselling our services without written authorization from JeshBill
• Any activity that violates Nigerian laws and regulations
Violation of these terms will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to relevant Nigerian authorities.
11. Account Suspension and Blocking
JeshBill reserves the right to suspend or block any account that:
• Violates these Terms and Conditions
• Is involved in fraudulent or suspicious activity
• Provides false registration information
• Abuses our referral or cashback programs
• Receives a chargeback or dispute on a payment
Blocked users will not be able to access their account or use any JeshBill services. To appeal a suspension, contact support@jeshbill.ng.
12. Service Availability
JeshBill strives to maintain 24/7 service availability. However:
• Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues
• Third-party service providers such as network operators, electricity distribution companies and cable TV providers may experience downtime beyond our control
• JeshBill is not liable for losses arising from service unavailability
We will communicate planned maintenance via notifications on the platform.
13. Limitation of Liability
JeshBill's liability is limited to the amount of the specific transaction in dispute. We are not liable for:
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Damages arising from incorrect information provided by you
• Service interruptions caused by third-party providers
• Losses arising from unauthorized access to your account due to your own negligence
14. Changes to Terms
JeshBill reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via in-app notifications and email to your registered address.
Continued use of JeshBill after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
